On Thankfulness

I am thankful for…

…my mom. She is the epitome of organization, efficiency, and calm. She knows when to speak and when to listen. Her hostess skills make all feel at home. Her patience puts Job to shame. My favorite times with her are when we visit about books while knitting and drinking coffee. When my kids tell me they have the best mom in the whole world, I tell them, “No, I do.” She is who I want to be when I grow up.

I love you, Mom!
