Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 NASB
Once upon a time, not so long ago…
I found myself being led into a story, a thickening and sickening plot. The denouement of this personal “it” occurred in the middle the Advent season, a possible prelude for a new year. I now consider the familiar words of James 1:2-4 with renewed conviction. I interpret their juxtaposed meaning much in the way life experiences complement and complicate each other. Much in the way “it” has been revealed.
