There’s nothing better than sharing books with friends. Add to that meeting together for coffee on the spur of the moment and receiving a cute bag filled with Eugenia Price books. This happened for me the other day, and I am still experiencing the high from that book buddy’s “hi.”
Book buddies are another essential for writers–and readers. Book clubs are a fabulous way to share books and have quality discussions. I’ve been involved in two, sometimes three, book clubs at a time. One of my book clubs has been meeting for well over a decade. My mom and I also choose a book every month to read together. This friend I met for coffee is actually in my mom’s book club. It becomes another network of sharing, not just books, but literary insight and personal happenings. In that way, book clubs are stories in themselves.
Are you in a book club? If so, share about your experience. If not, find one to join or create your own!
