This book deserves more than five stars! Mark Sullivan weaves the novelesque account of WWII Italy through the eyes of Pino Lella, driver for one of Hitler’s generals.  This amazing story of life, love, and loss has been virtually untold until now. Readers are transported to a time of devastating tragedy and astounding heroism. The length of the book is soon forgotten for this just-cannot-put-it-down book.
